Let’s be clear: this isn’t primarily a book about music and musicians, and its focus is on Shrewsbury, not all the countryside around the Severn. But I’m guessing there are a few people following this blog who’ll find it of interest. It does include some interviews with people connected with the local music scene (including the folk festival). And Pauline Fisk also wrote a book called Sabrina Fludde, which would be a less tenuous connection with this site if I’d actually read it. (I may yet, though.)
Anyway, what you’re reading here is not the review, which is on my Shropshire Blues site: Book Review: Pauline Fisk book on Shrewsbury
